We are honest about this: face-to-face training is always the best way to learn martial arts, timing, movement, pressure, correction, and physical self-protection.

Nothing fully replaces hands-on coaching with an experienced instructor. But if you literally cannot attend, then learning something structured, sensible, and professionally guided is far better than learning nothing at all.
