We’re exceptionally proud to be working in collaboration with GB Taekwondo, to act as a talent pathway for their renowned Fighting Chance programme; an elite development programme that takes talented athletes all the way through to the GB Olympic Taekwondo team.
This is a superb opportunity for all BMABA and Revolution Martial Arts students aged 13-18 who show exceptional abilities or potential to showcase their skills for the GB Taekwondo talent team. You do not have to be exclusively Taekwondo to take part; we are providing talent from any style that incorporates kicking – be that Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Karate, MMA and so on.
Our new mutual collaboration with GB Taekwondo provides an excellent opportunity for students of Revolution Martial Arts for consideration and, if exceptional potential is shown; the opportunity for the young person to go onto an audition at the Manchester headquarters.
This means BMABA and Revolution member clubs now have the ability to push on exceptionally talented young athletes from all styles for a Fighting Chance to join the full time GB Taekwondo Development team, with a view to eventually going on to compete at Olympic Level for their country.
